"Six environmentalists were arrested outside a GTE facility east of Downtown Los Angeles.
Actress Barbara Williams, wife of State Senator Tom Hayden, (was) led away by police.
The Demonstrators, from the Rainforest Action Network and Greenpeace, want the company
to quit buying pulp from MacMillen Bloedel, a British Columbia logging company
that the demonstrators said is clear-cutting the Canadian province's Clayoquot Sound.
GTE officials had no comment."
